A colourful, light and accommodating wedding cake with stronger flavoured cheeses at the top.
The first layer is nothing but our local treasure, Single Gloucester. Made by Jonathan in Stonehouse, that is the only Single Gloucester exclusively made from the milk of Old Gloucester cattle.
As a second layer stands a Wild Cornish Yarg. A light, gentle semi hard cheese wrapped in wild garlic leaves.
Then a small half truckle of Colston Bassett Stilton Baby. A buttery, rich Stilton with malty, herbaceous flavous.
The fourth layer is a Camembert de Normandie, a classic. It is earthy and mushroomy with hint of cauliflower under the rind.
The last cheese is Dorstone. A beautiful soft goat’s cheese from Herefordshire, coated with vegetal ash. Light and citrussy with delicious sweet, milky flavours under the rind.
