Cheese lovers will be encouraged to challenge their perceptions of cheddar and tune in for a live tasting event online on Saturday 16th September. The Great British Cheddar Challenge event will be hosted by comedian Marcus Brigstocke, who will be joined by a host of experts from the cheese world, culminating in a public vote to find out the nation’s favourite artisan cheddar.
This is an online blind tasting consisting of 6 cheddars. Each one will be wrapped and numbered. You only need to order your cheese and join the online tasting. Participants will be given a link to a formatted tasting sheet. Price includes delivery cost.
Delivery is included in the price. We will send out your tasting box, which will arrive between 13-15th September before the event.
Each box contains:
– 6 real artisan cheddars (between 100-150g each, enough for 4 to share)
– link to the tasting event and official AOC printable tasting sheets.
– 1 box of crackers
